Android connection problem

I simply cannot connect with my htc one mini.. Checked and double checked the set up, but cannot establish any connection at all.. irrespective of whether I am connected to a wifi or mobile data network

Have been using Just Free VPN for over a year for my PC, and have no problems there, but cannot seem to make my Android work.
(OS is fine and supports PPTP)

Any hints or set up parameters I may have missed?
